COTTAGE REMODEL
COMPLETED 2022
New England meets South Florida. We took this project down to the studs with a new kitchen design and additional bathroom and mudroom to meet the functional needs of the clients. The family had just moved down from Connecticut and definitely had a cottage aesthetic. The problem: They now live on the intracoastal in South Florida. We used tumbled limestone to create a unique fireplace surround, as well as fun stair risers! We used classic, traditional materials such as Carrara marble and medium stained oak wood flooring to bring down some of that norther charm. Wood ceilings, a mixture of navy blues and white, and eclectic lighting made this home feel like home.
